High school students in Ontario create a piece of work the size of a postcard, 4" x 6", inspired by a painting created by a Canadian Artist. The postcard is then mailed to the artist who, in turn, replies with a painting inspired by the student's artwork.
Below (left) is the lovely student-drawn picture I recently received in the mail. Even though I don't have a barn, the image is very relatable since I live on an acreage, once had brown hens and enjoy a beautiful view of the sun set. The hens are well rendered with textured feathers and nice colour. It's so fun receiving snail mail - especially when it's a little piece of art.
In return, I painted a little still life of brown eggs.
